The Real Housewives of New York City just wrapped up yet another dramatic season. But might it have been a tad TOO dramatic?

Insiders say the life on set reached a new low this year, from insulting Tweets to Moroccan brawls to incidents not seen on camera.

“Things have gotten so bad that producers are worried that this cast can no longer film together,” a source says“All the ladies have long memories and will not let the smallest thing go. The level of hatred at the moment is so high that it's toxic and all consuming... it’s just petty and sad.”

One particular source of contention?

A blogger has been bashing the heck out of Jill Zarin, but multiple co-stars have actually befriended this individual, creating serious tension, a friend of Jill's tells The Huffington Post:

“This sort of behavior should be rejected by all the cast members, no matter how hot disagreements get on the show. It has stopped being a TV fight and is now a real life battle that is unacceptable.”

Tuesday night is a big one for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. They hold their annual election for president (expect current prexy Tom Sherak to be easily�re-elected for his third and final one-year term) and they will�choose the 2011 recipients of the Governors Awards, which will be�some combination of Honorary Oscars, The Irving G.�Thalberg Award and/or the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award. At that meeting, Sherak could also tell the board who is going to produce the 84th Annual Academy Awards among the other things that may come up, including proposals to further regulate Oscar-season campaigning and parties (a move inspired by and initiated in part�because of my Jan. 7 Deadline article on�the issue,�I am told by an Academy insider�involved with the new proposals).

Hollywood Talent Scammer Nick Roses Sentenced For Scheme Putting Kids At Risk

There's a new development in that�Los Angeles City Attorney's Office�crackdown on Hollywood managers and agencies it believes are running afoul of the state's labor law, the�Krekorian Talent Scam Prevention Act of 2009, which prohibits charging advance fees. Four talent managers have been accused of charging improper fees, the highest-profile one being Nick Roses.�Now this week�Roses, the one-time 21-year-old wunderkind talent manager�based in Studio City, entered a no-contest plea to one count of operating an advance-fee talent representation service and one count of failing to file the proper $50,000 bond with the State Labor Commission. Judge Yolanda Orozco sentenced Roses to�serve 90 days in jail or perform 45 days of Community Labor, and to 36 months probation. During that time,�Roses is ordered to have no involvement with any talent training service, talent counseling service, or talent listing service anywhere, including outside the state of California. Roses�also was ordered not to be involved with any "camp", education facility, or day care facility attended by anyone under the age of 18. Failure to abide by the terms of probation will result in Roses being sentenced to at least 6 months of jail. Jonah Shacknai Still Not Suspected in Mansion Deaths Despite Lengthy Police Probe

Despite receing nine calls in three years related to two of Jonah Shacknai's homes, investigators are finding no links to two mystery deaths in his mansion.

"There doesn't appear to be a connection," Coronado, Ca., Police Commander Michael Lawton tells People. "There's nothing here that stands out as suspicious."

The calls involved the beachfront mansion owned by Jonah Shacknai, a CEO of a pharmaceutical company, and another residence four blocks away.

His ex-wife Dina lives in the second residence. Their son, Max, 6, died after a fall in the mansion earlier this month, which was officially ruled an accident.

Just two days later, Rebecca Nalepa (a.k.a. Rebecca Zahau, 32) was found hanged there. She had been dating Jonah Shacknai for close to three years.

Calls to police from 2008-present included a report of a vandalism to a car at the home, second-degree burglary, a robbery alarm and other incidents.

Five calls between 2009-2011 to the ex-wife's home included a suspicious vehicle call, two complaints of disturbing the peace, and a burglary alarm.

Police found no crimes had been committed in any of those cases.

Lawton says the area is full of tourists and prone to frequent police calls and false alarms. Some of these reports may not have involved either property at all, but were simply in close proximity to an random incident, he posits.
